Saffron Apartment is a ground floor apartment in Pueblo de la Paz (Village of Peace) in Cumbre del Sol. The exterior of the buildings in Pueblo de la Paz are painted in striking blocks of blue, beige, yellow, green, ochre and saffron: colours that were traditionally found on local fishermen's cottages and helped to guide them in
from the sea.These buildings have only 2 floors to protect the
view of the sea and mountains.
On Pueblo de La Paz, we are located on the row closest to the
sea and have a bigger than average garden. The garden is south facing and enjoys sunshine all day long! Our location also ensures greater privacy compared to the other streets in Pueblo de la Paz.
Saffron Apartment can comfortably accommodate up to 4 to 5
people. It comprises of an open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom.
Aside from the double bedroom and twin bedroom, Saffron Apartment also has a large sofa bed in the lounge. Ample
storage is provided by a wardrobe in each bedroom. Cable TV
is available, along with DVD, CD player and board/card games.
The well equipped kitchen in Saffron Apartment comes with a fridge/freezer, ceramic hob, electric oven, kettle, toaster,
coffee machine, microwave and plenty of cutlery, crockery,
pots and pans. There is a bathroom with toilet, washbasin
with extra storage unit underneath and over-bath shower with screen. Hot water is provided by a 50 litre electric boiler.We
also supply a washing machine, iron and drying rack for your
use. Bed linen and towels are also provided during your stay.
There is a covered terrace (naya) leading to a private garden.
Four sun loungers, garden furniture and chairs are available.
The lounge and double bedroom in Saffron Apartment overlooks
the private garden which is aid down with gravel and enclosed by Oleander, Hibiscus, Lavender, Rosemary, Cactuses and sweet smelling Jasmine. Ceramic pots containing Olive, Orange, Lemon
and Grapevine are also positioned around the garden. Four sun loungers are provided for use in the garden!
On site facilities include a huge communal pool, tennis court, bar/restaurants, pharmacy and 2 shopping centres: the Adelfas shopping centre is within walking distance from the apartment
whilst the Lirios Shopping Centre is at the other end of Cumbre
del Sol. There are also shops, banks, restaurants, cafes & bars in the village of Benitachell (only 1 km away). Supermarkets such as Masymas, Mercadona, Pepe le Sal and Aldi are all within 5 kms radius. For a pleasant dining experience in Benitachell, we would personally recommend the Bull & Bear Restaurant. Their delicious meals can be eaten in the charming restaurant or outside on the sunny courtyard.
